    Hello,

I came across your website and learnt that you place the right celebrity with the right brand. We are a new perfume brand that is set to launch in the next few weeks. My initial plan was to send free gifts of the perfume worth hundreds of dollars to individual celebrities and write a letter to solicit celebrity endorsements for our fragrances. Having said that, we will also consider some paid endorsements if you match us with a prominent celebrity who matches our brand values and we believe the ROI is high. Kindly read and understand who we are and what we stand for and let me know your thoughts. Also let me know what role you guys will play apart from just finding the right celebrity and your fees, if any.

    Thank you
    Benigna

Hi Benigna, I will contact you privately about this with some more details, but there are some things in your question that would benefit all readers.

      1) Your instinct to send out samples to influencers is correct, but blindly sending items is going to have poor results. You want to ask them if they are open to samples, and open to endorsements. This will most likely go through their agent or business manager.

      2) The best way for a new company with not a lot of cash to get a key endorsement is to develop a special product line for their personal brand. Both Beats by Dre and Nike with Air Jordans built billion dollar brands with this tactic.

      I hope that helps.

      Cheers,
      Colin
